The Crafty side

I've given up solitaire and now when I need a break from writing and writing related projects I trawl craft blogs and ideas for art/learning for my grand kids- so here's an activity for my eldest grand daughter's fifth birthday at the weekend.

The project was found here       What fun!

And also some practical sewing- some bibs for Sienna.

Part of the craft

It's my creativity, to plunge into words and then to tinker with fabric and thread.  Both processes help each other.

This little rabbit girl now lives in London with my granddaughter Madeleine.  The pattern came from here.

Sometimes my stories need to be cut, or altered, so too clothes, especially imminent page boy trousers. So Quinn your trousers are now cut to length ready for the big wedding.
So smile and let's celebrate the last wedding- all six of our children married is a fantastic statistic.

Crafting

Now that I have sent the package overseas I can post the photo here of a sock monster- actually a wash bag for socks- I love blog- trawling for craft ideas- love craft.

I remember seeing a photo on a blog for a sock monster- but alas despite constant revisiting my book marks, I couldn't find it- so what do you know- I designed my own.  Funny, I write my own stories- but have trouble setting free my own craft designs.

What do you think?
