Saturday was a busy day at Peppergreen farm festival- a sunny day and lots of family entertainment so it was wonderful to have so many write about treasure hunting in the garden.
Here are some snapshots-
The lines/poems were written on paper flags made by another community group and displayed along the edge of a path near an eco-pod.
Walker books donated some of my books as prizes. Wonderful to encourage writing and reading on a late March morning in glorious autumn sunshine.
Thanks Walker, thanks Tamara.

CBCA Notables
Exciting news! My verse novel- 'Star Jumps' made the CBCA Notable list today. Very satisfying. Its not easy to write in a genre that is not mainstream and a topic that tackles farming and drought- but this novel is close to my heart and was showered with tears through the writing and editing stages.
Well done Walker- my publisher with several notable books in 2010 awards.
Thanks to the May Gibbs Literature trust for time spent in 2007 working on 'Star Jumps.'
