Everyone wanted to see the Egyptian display- so many people, so many groups touring and not many seats around- we need to go back another day and explore- particularly the medieval section.
Surprises were the Lindow man- found in peat moss; the different treasure hoards discovered hundreds of years later after a battle or disaster had been nearly forgotten.

oh this takes me back to Berlin when I had an afternoon to myself and checked out one of the many museums and looked at all the Eyptian stuff
